On June 5, 2016 Evangelist Sashikia Benjamin ministered the word of God to the congregation titled “JESUS SAVES”. Isaiah 53:3-7 KVJ. “He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem. Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted….”
Evangelist Benjamin reminded the congregation that Satan, our adversary, deceives many using enticing words; he tries to cloud our minds with thoughts that are not of God, he attacks when we are asleep, he tries to kill us by inflicting our bodies with sickness, and he even tries various other means. The point of all of this is to remove us from the presence of God and thus leave us vulnerable to the attack of the enemy, cause us to doubt God and question His will. There is a battle between truth and error, right and wrong, being fought in each of us daily. We may ask God at times, “How can this be?” or “Why me?” But we need to begin to ask ourselves “Why not me?”
No matter the attack; whether it may be through dreams or the circumstances that surround our lives, we must learn to call on Jesus because JESUS saves! God will hear our cries and deliver us from all afflictions. It doesn’t matter if we are in a deep slumber, we are covered under the blood of Jesus. The blood of Jesus saves, delivers and sets us free from the bondage of sin. Our God is even greater than death; Jesus saves!
Be encouraged and remember that Jesus saves, He heals and He delivers! No matter what circumstances begin to call on Jesus; He has the final say!by
